  MMS (Master in Management Studies)

The Master in Management Studies (MMS) program is a 2 year full-time post-graduate program, conducted at various B schools like Welingkar, JBIMS. On successful completion, the student gets an MMS degree of the University of Mumbai.

The admissions are through a highly competitive Common Entrance Test (CET) which is taken by more than 30,000 students all over the country. A rigorous GD and PI follow the test.

Eligibility : - Graduates (10+2+3) from a recognized university having 2 years of work experience after graduation in an executive or supervisory category, are eligible to apply to the Program.

    • The programs mentioned below (under Executive MMS) are affiliated to the University Of Mumbai and have been approved by AICTE.

        MMM ( Master in  Marketing Management)

      The program covers all the related areas of marketing including public sector marketing. It seeks to develop an integrated top management perspective, which is necessary for a marketing executive to move into a top level general management position. 

      Candidates seeking admission to this program must have practical experience of minimum two years in any of the following related areas: Marketing Planning, Sales Management, Marketing Research, Distribution, Public Relations, Advertising, Export Marketing and Applied Economics.

    •   MFM (Masters in Financial Management)

      The program covers all related areas of Finance and Accounting with emphasis on managerial applications. Candidates having experience in Finance or related areas of Finance such as Management Audit, Internal Audit, Marketing Analysis and Economic Analysis will find this program useful.

    •   MHRDM (Masters in Human Recourse Development Management )

      The objective of this programs is to prepare executives for top level administrative positions in public or private sector organisations. It lays special emphasis on developing a proper role perception of administrators in the Indian context by exposing them to a wide range of relevant areas, sufficiently in depth so that they may gain the confidence necessary to interact with functional specialists. Not only that, they would be able to develop the administrative skills for translating policies into action effectively. 

      Candidates having minimum executive experience of two years in Government establishments, public, private or co-operative sector organisations will find this program useful.

    •   MIM ( Masters Degree in Information Management )

      The program aims to impart students with requisite skills to pursue careers in Software Management, Software Project Management, IT consultancy and System Analysis. 

      It emphasizes a system oriented approach integrating the different topics in IT and systems such as Structured Languages, Web based Technologies, Networking, Project management and also management related topics like e-business, ERP, Knowledge Management, IT Strategies and CRM. 

      Candidates with executive experience and adequate domain knowledge would find the program extremely relevant will help them undertake managerial responsibilities in the IT industry.
